The Chuck
Norris Foundation
Tired
of inaction, action star Chuck Norris decided to deliver the deathblow
to the bloated waistline of the charity world. Seeking the help of
his influential friends, Chuck Norris set up the Chuck Norris Foundation.
Within hours Chuck's friends had pledged their help both financially
and emotionally. With the financial help Chuck poured all of the money
into the renovations of his Dojo in Seattle. With new mirrors and
fully stocked mini-bar, the Dojo would become the headquarters for
the foundation. Emotionally, Chuck just needed the new mirrors in
the Dojo to feel better, but he still rewarded his true friends with
a place on the board of governors, which coincidently made it the
toughest board in New Mexico. You don't believe me? Just check the
luminaries that the board boasted: Lorenzo Lamas; Charles Bronson;
Tex Randall; Benny 'The Jet' Uriquidez; Mr. Mithrush; Liza Minnelli;
David Gest; and Chuck Norris.
Armed with a charity mission statement that reads from the hip - the
eradication of conditions that promote disparity will be the vindication
of my syndicated television career - the foundation roundhouse kicked
into action.
The action was hard and fast, with several sustained beatings. Within
minutes, the newly created foundation delivered a karate chop to the
larynx of the charity world. At David Gest's bequeath, the Chuck Norris
Foundation swooped in to make the dreams of terminally ill children
possible. The Foundation organized a Make a Wish Gala to help terminally
ill children fulfill their dying wish of breaking bricks. Although
not one single brick was broken* - except by Chuck and David Gest
- the stigma surrounding the terminally ill children was bloodied
to a pulp.
Next up, the Chuck Norris Foundation plans to have another brick breaking
function for the victims of domestic abuse, black on black crime,
the emotionally disturbed, and the Italian community. Ciao.
* All terminally ill children were hurt before the function and the
Chuck Norris Foundation assumes no legal responsibility for the bones
that were already broken prior to, during, and after the brick-breaking
extravaganza. |
