NBA Introduces A New Defense
In
a surprise addition to its rulebook, the NBA allowed teams to implement
a new Homeland Security defense into its game-time strategy .
The Homeland Security defense is simple in principle and is based
on systematic racial profiling aimed at keeping minorities away from
the basket. Under the new rules Blacks and Latinos arent
even allowed anywhere near the key or basket. In fact, if a black
or Latino even crosses half-court theyre encouraged to follow
the ref straight into a waiting squad car and is transported off for
interrogation.
For
too long the NBA has had lax security, allowing just about anyone
to get near the basket. But ever since Sept. 11th they've had to re-think
the security concerns associated with giving minorities million dollar
contracts. Armed with their million-dollar contract each ethnic NBA
player has the potential to fund a terror cell; or - worse yet - start
their own terror cell with illegitimate children.
Basketball purists are excited about the game's return to its roots
of
lay-ups and set-shots. |
